Touring the Amazon River by Riverboat As we returned to our room for the night I told Deloris this might be the last night for luxury accommodations on this trip.
I told her that we had been on many Barefoot Windjammers cruises in past years. We both agree the the cabin accommodations on these very old wooden sailing ship had been 10 steps down from luxury. We reminded ourselves that with enough rum we got to enjoy our little cabins.
I even reminded Deloris that one to the Windjammer ships we traveled on sunk several months after we disembarked while it tried to out run a bad hurricane.
I told Deloris that since this was not hurricane season this river cruise was going to be a "piece of cake".
Still as I fell asleep I was thinking -- what have we forgotten ourselves into? I fell asleep with images of Willy II floating thru my mind.
