Touring the Amazon River by Riverboat

We unloaded and by the time we were aboard the Zafiro are fears of substandard accommodations had exited stage left.

As a Naval Architect I felt obligated to immediately report to the bridge and introduce myself to the Captain. I wanted to let him known that I was a NA and I would be able to assist if any stability or hydrodynamic problem surfaced during the voyage.

Perhaps it was a language issue but he did not seem to be that impressed and he did not invite me to join him at the Captains table for dinner during the entire trip.
