What a fun, unique experience! Blake's bus is chock full of art and eclectic items. We particularly enjoyed the Malibu shower (so refreshing to shower outside!) and comfy bed. There were plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and pans, as well as a grill, to enjoy a meal at the bus. (Corkscrew too, in case you want to enjoy some local wine like we did!) The book selection was also amazing, and I learned quite a bit about urban farming in one of them. Blake greeted us upon arrival, but she also gave us a thorough review of how to check in if she wasn't there. The location is perfect for exploring the Gualala, Point Arena, and Mendocino coast. Blake's property is private from the neighbors, but she encouraged us to poke around the garden and check out interesting buildings on site. Even though the bathroom is not on the bus, it's just a short (20 seconds) walk. Bring a headlamp or flashlight though for night trips! And, just like camping, it's fine to pee in the bushes!
