My Escape to the Bohemian Bus

What an absolutely incredible experience! The bus itself is perfect – it has so much character, such positive energy, every inch of it thought out and adorned with various treasures. We especially enjoyed Blake’s amazing cassette collection (refamiliarizing myself with cassettes in general was a hoot) in which we listened to all weekend in the surround sound of the bus, cooking on the stovetop, making fires in the wood burning stove to keep the bus nice and warm on our chilly Northern California summer nights, and exploring the land the bus sits on. Blake is a brilliant artist and writer, and her art permeates every part of the bus and surrounding land. Blake tends a vibrant, lush garden and introduced me to a couple new vegetables I had never even heard of… We also found some time to explore Point Arena – the lighthouse tour is awesome, and highly recommend checking out the nearby bluffs for a nice hike. While it was nice to see the town, we couldn’t wait to get back to the bus! Honestly, this is a special place on earth and I am grateful for the experience. Blake, you are an inspiring, wonderful human and I’m so glad our paths crossed! Highly, highly recommend the Bohemian Bus for anyone looking for a magical, whimsical getaway. Can’t wait to go back!
