We visited one of the few female Shamans
Visit to the Shaman
Shamans play a vital role to the natives. We had the opportunity to meet a shaman in San Regis Village. She explained how she concocts potions from local plants and functions as a spiritual doctor and midwife. We also went on a boat excursion on the Choroyacu River. Throughout our water explorations we saw pink porpoises.
